Music to one of the theatres newest opera's flooded out a phonograph and through out the dancer's practice hall. A thin of young woman of twenty years floated across the room in time with music. She wore a tight, black leotard and a loose, flowing skirt made of tulle. All her hair was back in a bun on the top of her head save for one loose curl that fell into her face. Her feet donned a pair of ragged pointe shoes.
As the music began to intensify, Aurelie did a sauté, legs spread far while in the air and landing en pointe in an arabesque. Then she moved gracefully to an attitude as the song ended. Satisfied that she had done well, she walked over to the seats at the wall and picked up her water. After sitting down she took a sip.

Margot came in and watched a bit of the dancing seeing her do the move she seemed so pleased with. She clapped her hands together in applause and smiled. She didn't know this girl but she was good. A ballerina it seemed for the opera of course. Everyone in the plays weren't dancers but they had to know how and a lot of them were horrible, but with their endless practice it never mattered.
"Bravo." She grinned and walked to the girl. "Is that from the new Opera next week? I haven't heard that one yet. Seems interesting."

Aurelie hadn’t noticed the other girl walk into the room. She jumped at the sound of the applause, but soon realized that it was just one the play actresses. She vaguely remember seeing once twice whether it was in passing or if she was in one of the many shows that Aurelie had watched.
She smiled brightly when she heard the girl say ‘Bravo.’ “Thank you,” she replied, “Yes, it is. It’s one of my favorite pieces of I've done. You should come see it when it’s finished..”

"You should come to the play in Spring. The one called Cinderella. It's got similar music to this. Not necessarily opera, but it's a musical and it seems the orchestra plays something like this. I think it's called Ten Minutes Ago. I don't know."
She smiled at the girl and sat down at one of the chairs.
"So how long have you been dancing?"

Aurèlie listened intently as the girl talked. She had heard of the play and of the music, it was very pretty, and she was excited to see it. After taking another sip of water, she replied, “Well, I started when I was 7, so…” she paused, doing the math in her head, “13 years.”
[[ooc: sorry that one's so short]]
