She plopped down onto the couch with a small thud and grinned. Letting her coat fall off of her and her gloves get thrown on the coffee table. Her shoes rested next to her feet as she sat there, thinking about earlier. How lucky was she to finally meet someone?
"Drea!" She called out into the apartment. She wasn't sure if the girl had got home yet from her play that day. It was one of the only performances that she and the girl hadn't done together.
"Drea? Are you home?!"

Drea opened the door and entered the apartment. Just hearing her name, she shouted "What?" softly as she leaned over to take off her shoes. She walked over towards Margot and took off her coat, laying it over a chair.
"Did you call me?" she asked as she sat down next to her oldest friend on the couch.

"I met someone today." She grinned widely. "Oh my god he was amazing! And he's a performer too. Just like us. He came into the main theater when I was practicing. He's a magician he says. It was so sweet..." Margot pulled out the rose he gave her. "He made this appear out of smoke like it just came out of thin air."
She sighed and leaned back against the couch and looked at the girl happily. She had never seen Margot so happy yet. She was often a loner and the only person she really did talk to was Drea herself. For her to meet a man was a miracle.
"I felt like my head would float off into the ceiling and like my knees were going to give out. I couldn't believe someone could do that to me."

Drea couldn't help but to pull her good friend into a giant huge and smile. "Oh Marg, that's great! But I say, it's about time you met someone!" she said and laughed a bit. For the year that Drea and Margot having been living together, Drea was beginning to wonder if Margot was ever going to get a boyfriend. Drea had just recently broken up with her boyfriend, but she really wished that she could meet someone too and move on.
"This guy seems really sweet, and you say he's a magician? That's interesting...I've never met any other the magicians that perform at the Theater. What's his name?" she asked.

"Um..." Her smile turned quickly into a frown as she hugged Drea back. "I don't really know actually. I didn't ask. I just know that his show is tomorrow and I told him I'd go...his name slips my mind."
She laughed slightly at her stupidity. She'd probably never talk to this guy again she didn't even know his name. How wonderful? Now she felt utterly stupid.
"Um..."

She laughed. "He's probably one of those guys who flirt with every girl they see. I really do hope he's the one for you, but don't be alarmed if after the show tonight you see him magically pull a rose for another girl. You know those types of guys..."
"But anyway, what did he look like? Tall? Short? Hansome? Dark hair? What?" drea needed details when it came to guys.

"Yeah I know those types of guys. That's why I usually stay away from them all. But he was really sweet anyway. He was tall, about five inches taller than me. He's got black hair and well I didn't really get a good look at his eyes. He was wearing sunglasses, but I bet their gorgeous. He was very handsome with a very defined face. I only wish he was the prince in the play I tried out for this evening.

"Just be lucky you've met someone. At least you're not in a rut like me...who only kisses their co-stars, who are usually annoying anyway. You know the play I'm in now? Well the guy my character's suppose to fall in love with it a total jerk out of character. He's so rude, and he surely does not know how to treat a lady. So I told him that he was never going to get a girlfriend, no everytime we perform it feel awkward."

"I tried out for that Cinderella today." She said with a grin. She moved away from her and sat on the couch again putting her feet up on the coffee table. Most of the stuff in the place was from her father so it didn't really matter.
"I hope that I at least make godmother or something. Cinderella's a long shot. You should have seen some of the girls that were there. I do miss you though. I wish you would have been able to audition. I miss doing plays with you. It's easier to have a friend."

"You should have tried out for La Boheme with me. I made Mimi and I never thought that I would, so I bet you'll make Godmother, or even Cinderella. You look like a Cinderella to me, and you certianly have got that talent, there's no reason why they shouldn't pick you. But I do wish you the best of luck, you know that. And maybe we can to the next show together. Hpefully it can be a two girl lead and we'll make the parts," she said with a smile.

"Yeah...hopefully." She said and then stood up going to the icebox. It was larger than the normal 2 by 2 size. It was 5 by 5 and worked very well keeping things cold even if it was winter. She pulled out things for dinner. A pound of meat and fresh vegetables. Pulling noodles out of the cupboard, she set them all on the counter and then took out the pans.
"What if we become boyfriend and girlfriend?" She asked with a smile. Her hands starting chopping up the vegetables. Carrots and celery and spinach for chicken noodle soup. She plopped the chicken into boiling water to poach it and after five minutes took it back out and cooked it a little in the oven. She started simmering the vegetable and such in a pot and waited for Drea to talk.

"Well, if you become boyfriend and girlfriend, make sure he doesn't saw you in half," she joked and grabbed a knife and began to chop some vegetables with Margot. She carefully sliced each one, curling back her fingers so she wouldn't cut herself. "But if you do really like each other, I say go for it. I think it's cute, a magician and an actress. I just wish I knew what this guy looked like."
She added her recently cut vegeables into the simmering pot. They both always cooked dinner together, but Margot always had to lead Drea. She never fully learned how to cook since her mother passed away when she was twelve. She did learn all the basics though.

"Well why don't you come to the show tomorrow night? He's performing tomorrow and it might be nice for you to see what he looks like. I can get you a seat in the front so you can really get a good look at him."
Margot took out the chicken and cut it up into shreds putting in into the pot with the rest of the soup.

"All right, I think I will go. I've been dying to go to a magic show since I moved in with you. Hopefully I'll be able to talk to your little boyfriend after the show," she teased and put a few more cuts of vegetables into the pot. She then opened on of the kitchen drawers and pulled out a wooden spoon. She slowly stirred the soup with the spoon and added a bit more water to it.
"So are you more excited to see the guy's performance or to see the guy?" she asked with a little smirk. She couldn't help but to tease Marg of this guy now. But the teasing would probably stop if Marg and the guy acually went out.

"I'm more excited to see both. He seemed really great, like he's really smart and witty. He seems to have a sense of humor too. Wow...I really am an idiot." She laughed. "I need to get a grip on myself before I fall flat on my face. I bet tomorrow he'll have forgotten her met me and I'll just be another girl in the theater with her heart fluttering at his voice."
Margot plopped back down onto the couch. Laying across it her head on the arm. She felt almost sick now. No one knew how she really wanted this.
